Description in English
Hungary's oldest and most influential brick collection offers free guided tours and clay-making opportunities for individuals, families and groups in the exceptional exhibition rooms of the 16th and 18th century cellars of Dubniczay Palace.
This year, in addition to the presentation of new acquisitions, the guided tour will focus on the changes in the size and appearance of European masonry bricks around the 4th to 5th centuries AD. We will also seek answers to the question of why the 'classic' stamped bricks, now familiar to almost everyone, appeared at the end of the Middle Ages.
