Kálmán Imre születésének 105. évfordulója alkalmából 1987. október 22-én múzeum nyílt Siófokon, a szülőházában. A világhírű operettkomponista ugyanis itt látta meg a napvilágot 1882. október 24-én. Az állandó kiállítás bemutatja Kálmán Imrét, az embert, pályafutásának fontosabb állomásait és magánéletének érdekesebb történéseit.

The Emmerich Kálmán Memorial House was opened in 1987, on the 105th anniversary of Emmerich Kálmán's birth. The famous Hungarian operetta composer was born in Siófok in this house on 24th of October 1882. The permanent exhibition presents the composer Emmerich Kálmán, the main stages of his life and carreer.
